Phantom power is essential for powering a condenser microphone or other equipment that requires extra power. Mackie offer the rugged M48 +48-volt supply unit for all your phantom power needs. It comes with its own adapter and can also be powered by means of a 9-volt battery. It's simply a matter of hooking it up (via the XLR input and output) and pushing the power button! Finally, the M48 features an LED status indicator to let you know when the battery needs replacing.
